Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in the United States for the past forty years. Her most well-known role is for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first stage performance in the 1950s. Then, she appeared on Broadway for a number of performances until 1957 when Li'l Abner made it big in the National Theatre. She released her album It's Too Late for Tina that following year. Louise began her journey into Hollywood as Griselda Walden, a character from God's Little Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The movie received wide acclaim and Louise received her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. In New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationship to Lee Strasberg. The actress joined CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise continued to have a successful professional career that combines Broadway television with Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious rather than the glamour doll image she had been portrayed as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary however she also made a mark as a successful television director with several series including Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex on August 28, 1965. Her family then relocated to Toronto for her early years. Then she settled in Vancouver when she was chosen to play Samantha Carter.
