Coleman was a Lancashire resident born in the town of Blackpool. She was a headgirl at Arnold School, Blackpool and was awarded straight A's on her A-levels. Coleman regrets not having receive a standard schooling when talking about her experience at Emmerdale. Coleman was in high school, was a student of a theatrical company called In Yer Space. They performed the play Crystal Clear for the Edinburgh Festival. The award was presented to her for her performance, and the production was also well-received. Coleman received the role as Jasmine Thomas while she was performing at drama school. It happened in 2005. Coleman won two awards in the year 2007. In 2007 Coleman was nominated for two awards, The British Soap Awards as the Most Popular Newcomer and also the National Television Awards as the most Popular. She was nominated in the categories of Best Actress, Sexiest Woman and for the Best Dramatic Performance during the British Soap Awards 2009. Coleman was awarded a Television Choice Award for Best Actress. On 21 March 2012 Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat announced at a press event that Coleman will play the Doctor's companion alongside Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat picked her to play the role due to her being the most efficient when working with Smith and spoke more quickly than the actor. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Since 1987, she's worked in film and television projects. But she's had a greater presence on television as opposed to films. Eva played many roles on television, but two stand out in particular: Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as the role of Detective Natalia Boa Vistas' in CSI Miami. The part of Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children garnered its two Daytime Emmy nominations. This gave her an opportunity to display her talent in music. Eva isn't just an actress, she is as well a philanthropist and businesswoman. The actress has three marriages and has a daughter who is along with her husband.
